Lord Jesus, we hear in scripture who is my neighbor

? We also hear that the one in need is our neighbor and we are to respond to their needs.

Help us to think of others rather than ourselves.

Help us to be able to put aside our own needs. Help us to respond to those around

us who are in greater need then we are and help us to do so with joy in our hearts. We ask this in your name.
